TOPEKA (AP) -- A Kansas House member wants Speaker Mike O'Neal to produce documents about a lawsuit he filed against the state for clients of his legal practice.

Relatives of a 7-Eleven clerk killed in a robbery during his last shift at the store have set up a scholarship fund in his memory. A gunman fatally shot Gurpreet “Tony” Singh, 35, early Wednesday at 8501 E. Bannister Road even though Singh cooperated with all the gunman’s demands. The holdup was recorded on the store’s video surveillance system. Kansas City police still are investigating leads.

The Kansas Department of Agriculture recently cited several Kansas restaurants for six or more critical health code violations. •Ari’s Greek Restaurant, 2049 E. Santa Fe St., Olathe, had seven critical violations during a Feb. 11 routine inspection. Violations included dolmades with mold growth, and raw pooled eggs stored above an open container of cooked beef.
